This website provides access to credible information, tools, guides and resources to enhance the mining sector’s understanding of three management standards.

It surveys risks faced by the industry through lack of standards, as well as the benefits of adopting management system standards as solutions to those risks.
Who is JASANZ?
JASANZ (The Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand) is an initiative of the Australian and New Zealand Governments designed to help markets work better by providing internationally recognised accreditation services that create economic benefits.
Accreditation has many flow-on benefits in the market, including:
reducing risk
reducing compliance and transaction costs
streamlining operations
breaking down barriers to trade, which provides greater access to global markets
providing assurance that goods and services are safe and can be used for their intended purpose.
These benefits strengthen national, Trans-Tasman and international trade and commerce.
Our Mission
To ensure that JASANZ accreditation enhances national, trans-Tasman and international trade to promote international recognition of the excellence of Australian and New Zealand goods and services.

The Critical Minerals project is a JASANZ initiative proudly supported by the Support for Industry Service Organisations (SISO) Program.
